CheckMyBenefits is a free, independent information tool. We are not a government agency and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the USDA, the Food and Nutrition Service, your state benefits office, or any other agency. We do not process applications or decide eligibility.
Estimates only
Our screener and calculators give estimates based on public program rules. They are not official eligibility determinations and not legal, financial, or tax advice. Only your state agency can decide your application. Rules and income limits change — always confirm with the official program before relying on a result.
We never ask for sensitive numbers
We will never ask for your EBT card number, PIN, full Social Security number, or bank login. If anything claiming to be us asks for those, it is not us — do not provide them.
Acceptable use
Use the site for your own personal, lawful purposes. Don't disrupt the service, scrape it at scale, or present our estimates as official government determinations.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CheckMyBenefits is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its estimates. Your sole remedy if you are dissatisfied is to stop using the site.
